At Flamingo Diversity Solutions, I help organisations create inclusive workplaces where people feel valued, heard, and truly empowered. When individuals feel they belong, they bring their best — driving deeper engagement, innovation, and commercial success.

With over 30 years of experience as a senior HR professional across some of the UK’s leading brands in Financial Services, Telecommunications, and Utilities, I bring both strategic insight and practical expertise.

My journey began in Customer Services and Customer Experience, giving me a unique lens through which I approach every project — blending customer insight, service design, and employee experience to build inclusive cultures.

Through coaching, facilitation, and a focus on long-term impact, I support organisations to go beyond box-ticking, and towards meaningful, everyday belonging.

Why a Flamingo

Well, let me take you back…

Years ago, a school art teacher told me I had “good ideas but couldn’t quite put them into practice.” That stuck. For years, I avoided anything remotely arty, convinced I simply couldn’t do it.

Fast forward to a leadership offsite a few years ago… and we were booked into a painting class. Let’s just say I wasn’t thrilled.

But a couple of hours later, I walked out with my very own painting of a flamingo. Not only was I proud—I was also surprised.

And it got me thinking…

What changed? Why did something I dreaded become something I enjoyed?

That flamingo (now known as Fabian) lives behind my desk—a daily reminder that ability isn’t fixed, and with the right conditions, we can all thrive.

And that’s exactly what Flamingo Diversity Solutions is all about: building environments where everyone has the support, safety, and freedom to grow into their full potential.
